Miraflores Golf Club - "The most social Golf Club on the Costa del Sol"

Miraflores Golf Club, located between Fuengirola and Marbella, is home to a challenging yet fair Spanish Golf Course.  Conveniently situated in the middle of the Costa del Sol, Miraflores Golf Club is laid out amongst the rolling hills of Calahonda not far from the popular holiday resort of La Cala de Mijas.

Designed by Falco Nardi and opened in 1990, the Golf Course is par 71 and measures 5148 metres for Men and 4479 metres for Ladies. The Golf Course has undergone a transformation and offers a real challenge to all levels of golfing ability. Each one of the 18 holes offers a different challenge. The Golf Course follows the natural contours of the valley and is much flatter than its first appearance suggests. There are some fantastic panoramic views of the Costa del Sol coast line and mountain ranges from several of the elevated tee boxes.  Water comes into play on several holes so maintaining a clean scorecard may not be as easy as you think. This great Par 71 Golf Course presents golfers of all levels with wide fairways and large elevated greens.  The Golf Course is open 365 days a year, subject to weather conditions. It is advisable to book tee times in advance and check availability but many guests and members still enjoy the option to simply just come and play.

 

Miraflores Golf Club - also called "The most social Golf Club on the Costa" - is one of very few truly members Golf Clubs on the Costa del Sol, Miraflores Golf Course surrounds a clubhouse with bar and restaurant which is always filled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Golf Club runs a full calendar of competitions for members and guests. Entry to competitions varies, if the competition is a board, major or a draw you should enter your name on the sheets available on the Competition Notice Board in the Foyer of the Clubhouse. All other competition tee times are booked with the Caddy Master with the exception of Moonlighters which you book for the following week at the Caddy Masters desk prior to playing. Tee times for certain competitions will be posted on the website.

The Restaurant is offering lovely food, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere for golfers and nongolfers and is open 365 days a year.

If you are looking to learn to play golf in Spain or simply improve your golf game with some golf lessons, then Miraflores Golf Academy Driving Range is the perfect place to learn more about your golf swing and warm up before your round.

​

The driving range (Academy) is located near the 2nd tee on Calle Esmeralda on the way to the golf club. The Academy has an up to date driving range in the Miraflores Sports Village with 12 bays and 2 male professionals Thomas (Spanish) – Steve (British). The village also has a Golf Shop, Hair and Beauty Salon, Personal Training Centre and Sports Massage.
